  1. June 2013, appointed as Reviewer of Papers & Articles submitted for publications in the Journal of Natural and Applied Sciences at the University of Zambia.
  2. From 2005 – 2008, served as interim Board Chairman for COMTEL LTD.
  3. November 2002 – December 2005, appointed by Minister of Communications and Transport to serve as a National Technical Committee Member for ICT Policy Development for Zambia:
    1. To represent Zambia Telecommunications Company limited on the Technical Committee on Information and Communications Technologies Policy Development for Zambia.
    2. To spearhead developing a National Information and Communications Technologies Policy to provide for regulatory framework in Zambia.
    3. To provide guidelines for and supervise the preparation of an ICT policy framework, policy itself, and strategies action plans.
    4. To provide input for the pilot project, initiate and undertake ongoing evaluation.
    5. To work out program to facilitate the creation of a digital society through ICT Infrastructure, education and training, and human resources development.
    6. To organize a national forum for the discussion and validation of the draft policy document.
    7. To prepare a vision statement for Zambia in the Information age.
    8. To recommend an appropriate strategy and institutional mechanism to implement the said policy as a national mission for the participation of the central and local governments, industry, academic and research institutions, and the society at large.

  5. February 2004 attended 3GSM World Congress 2004 in Cannes, France on 3rd Generation GSM Conference, Exhibition and Workshop to increase the knowledge of the latest technical and commercial developments and to meet colleagues around the globe.

Presented a paper “A Packet Selection Mechanism for Congestion Control in Output System of ATM Switch” on August 24, 2001 at Engineering Institution of Zambia Annual Symposium at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia. Theme of the symposium was “Engineering 2001 – A Tool for National Development”.
