Holder of a PhD in International Politics and Masters in Development Studies with Governance and Democracy Specialisation. Experienced researcher with a demonstrated history of working in Academia, International Development Agencies and Civil Society Organisations. Core skills in research including M&E, training, Organisational Capacity Assessments and writing. Have provided technical support on elections, electoral processes and reforms, constitutional reforms , anti-corruption programmes, social protection governance, education governance and Gender. Have undertaken social and political research and training assignments for numerous local and international institutions such as the World Bank, EU, UNDP, DfID/ British Council,Chr. Michelsen Institute (Norway), Global Partnership for Education, British Academy (UK), Zambia National Assembly, Zambia’s Immigration Department, Zambia’s Drug Enforcement Commission, Anti- Corruption Commission, HIVOS, Women and Law in Southern Africa (WLSA), Zambia National Education Coalition (ZANEC), Forum for Africa Women Educationalists of Zambia (FAWEZA), Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED), Restless Development and Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP). Research outputs have culminated into publications, policy briefs and editorials that have been used by these organisations to refocus their development programming.
